Will 2018 be the year of the return?

José Tomás made his last walk in a Spanish bullring on September 9, 2016, at the Fair of Valladolid. In 2017 we heard that he was training again and tempting in the field; as in early September, he visited the fighting bull ranch of Núñez del Cuvillo or started October, when he was in Los Rodeos (Jaén).

The mystery of his return was resolved when we knew the poster of December 12 in La Mexico. The Monumental celebrated a charity bullfight for the victims of the earthquakes that the country suffered in the month of September. It was a mixed celebration with a lot of expectation because the reappearance of Galapagar was joined by Pablo Hermoso de Mendoza, Joselito Adame, El Payo, El Juli, Sergio Flores, Manzanares and Luis David.

Although no images have been published, there is evidence that José Tomás continues training, tempting and killing bulls behind closed doors, so it is expected that this year we will see him in the Spanish bullrings, at least in one! At the moment we can only have patience and wait for the desired date to be announced.
